Zach Nolan, a former Bray Wanderers defender, has completed his move to Welsh champions The New Saints. The 20-year-old full-back made more than 35 appearances for the Seagulls before his move north. Nolan secured his move after impressing The New Saints head coach Craig Harrison during a spell training with the club. He will link up with his new side when they begin preparations for their Champions League campaign, when they enter the first qualifying round draw on the seeded side. Nolan said of his move to Wales: “The playing style here is the way I like to play and from the off, this place just felt right for me. I see myself as a fast, attacking defender, but defending always comes first. I've a good engine and like getting up and down the pitch, and here I'll have the freedom to do that. Hopefully I can show what I've got and learn a lot too.” Nolan's potential is clear - he's got a good left foot, gets up and down the pitch, he's athletic, and his attitude is fantastic. He works hard and he wants to learn, which is exactly what The New Saints look for. He's someone they believe they can really develop and mould so they’re looking forward to working with him every day.
