Bray Wanderers have lost defender Conor McManus to English League Two side Gillingham for an undisclosed fee. The 22-year-old left-back, who joined the Seagulls from Premier League club Brentford, has signed with the Gills and could make his debut in their EFL Cup tie against Luton Town on Saturday.

Conor McManus, a former Republic of Ireland Under-21 international, began his career at Bray Wanderers before moving to Brentford. Despite not making a first-team appearance for the Bees, he has now secured a move to Gillingham, where he will look to establish himself in the English Football League.
